Bama Companies Opens Medical Clinic
The Bama Cos. Inc. now offers an on-site physician clinic for employees and their families.
The Bama Family Clinic is a 1,300-square-foot facility, open 40 hours a week, and is operated and managed by CareATC. The clinic features an on-site doctor for four hours each day, and a full-time nurse. There is also a chiropractor who treats patients three days a week.
The facility has two medical exam rooms, two chiropractic rooms, a chiropractic therapy room and a lab.
"We've had such a positive response from employees and their families, it just verifies what we initially suspected -- this is a service our employees really needed," said Paula Marshall, Bama CEO. "Not only does this give our employees the opportunity to live longer, healthier lives, it is a more cost effective way to provide these services.”
