In 2001, Ron Woods founded Care ATC with a plan to create a healthier population one company at a time. And with more than 30 years experience in the healthcare industry, most recently as the chief executive officer of HealthCare Solutions Group, he was able to carefully craft a healthcare model that benefits all parties involved.

In addition to his business, Woods is actively involved in the community, serving on the capital campaign committee for Grace Episcopal Church in Muskogee. He is also a past Rotarian and a current member and past president of Self Insurance Institute of America.

Woods received a bachelor’s degree in music education from The University of Tulsa. He and his wife Carole are most proud of their four children and 10 grandchildren.

Paul Keeling
Paul Keeling

Since 2004, Paul Keeling has promoted Care ATC’s name and mission to business communities across the nation. He also works to develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, as well as secure new business.

Previously, Keeling worked for Aetna and The Hartford, specializing in high risk workers’ compensation in the Dallas market. He earned a bachelor’s degree in safety management with a minor in business management and administration from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Okla.

Keeling is affiliated with First United Methodist Church, serves as the vice chair of programs for the Eagle District of the Indian Nations Council — Boy Scouts of America, is a member of the Monte Cassino Sports Council and volunteers as coach for a multitude of sports teams.

Tom Rogers
Tom Rogers

Tom Rogers has been a vital contributor to Care ATC since its inception in 2001and has watched the company grow from a concept to a program with proven results. Today he is responsible for marketing and sales in areas outside of Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri and Arkansas.

Rogers spent 20 years in manufacturing, distribution and logistics operations before working at Care ATC. His prior work experience includes president and chief operating officer for HealthCare Solutions Group, Inc. and director of manufacturing for Tarmac America Inc.

Having gained experience in the healthcare dilemma from a number of different perspectives, Rogers was invited to speak for the Healthy Ohio Workplace Conference, the Houston Business Group on Health and the Texas School Risk Managers Association. He is a member of St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church and the Tulsa CEO Forum.

James Baker
James Baker
Medical Director
James Baker — an Internist for more than 20 years — coordinates initiatives affecting clinical care, staffing operations, facility expansions and fiscal management policies for Care ATC.

A graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Baker is now an expert in assessment, planning and the delivery of high quality patient care in clinic, occupational and hospital settings. Prior to joining Care ATC, he most recently worked as a staff physician at CCOM Medical Group in Muskogee, Okla.

Baker has taught American Heart Association guidelines for more than 25 years, worked as chief resident at the University of Kansas and served on a hospital board of managers. Today he is a member of the American College of Physicians, American College of Physicians (Oklahoma Chapter) Council, American Medical Association, American Heart Association Emergency Cardiovascular Care Committee, American Heart Association ACLS National Faculty and many more.

Patti Shaw
Patti Shaw
Medical Director
Patti Shaw is doing exactly what she went to medical school to do — taking great of her patients. As medical director, Shaw carefully develops protocols for chronic disease management, establishes wellness programs and coordinates clinical operations among the physicians, staff and the employers.

The native Tulsan is the current medical chairperson for the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women campaign and is actively involved with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. She is also a member of many professional organizations, including the American Osteopathic Association, Oklahoma Osteopathic Association, Tulsa County Medical Society, Tulsa Osteopathic Medical Society and the American College of Osteopathic Internists.

Shaw, who has been a medical internist for nearly 10 years, received her medical degree from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is the recipient of several awards, including the Outstanding Service Award for Rural Health Project with the National Health Service Corps Fellowship of Primary Care Providers.
