Potential hires have to wait a long time to get interviewed and vetted these days. And the process is only taking longer.
Since 2009, the worldwide job interview process has added an average 3.5 days to the wait. Some nations drag the process out longer than others.
The USA's 22.9 day average seems modest when compared to France's 31.9 days. Even for countries with shorter durations, interview trial periods are increasing across the board no matter where you live.
So what's the job with the longest interview period? That would be police officers, with a staggering 127.6 days to wait before they're hired.
