No. CareATC never shares your personal health information with your employer. It is 100% safe and secure.

You can access the Patient Portal at patients.careatc.com. Access your account by entering the unique code issued to you on your Personal Health Assessment report or with your personal information. If you have trouble logging into the Patient Portal, you can call the Patient Access Center at 800.993.8244.

How can I schedule an appointment?

You can access the Patient Portal at patients.careatc.com. Access your account by entering the unique code issued to you on your Personal Health Assessment report. If you do not have a report, simply enter your personal information. After logging in, you can set up your username and password. If you have trouble logging into the Patient Portal, you can call the Patient Access Center at 800.993.8244.

A highly confidential summary is provided to each participant, displaying screening results and tips for improvement. Your PHA Summary Booklet will arrive in approximately one week after your draw. How can I submit a prescription refill request?

About Prescription Refills

Patients can refill CareATC prescriptions in two to three days by calling the Patient Access Center, or by request through the convenient mobile app. Often, no Wellness Center visit is necessary unless otherwise required by the physician.

What is included in my Personal Health Asessment (PHA)?

Personal Health Assessment Components

The Personal Health Assessment (PHA) is a biometric screening that includes a check of blood pressure, height, weight, waist measurement, and a blood draw to measure blood glucose, triglyceride levels, and other fundamental lab values. Please note: a PHA requires you to fast for eight or more hours.

How should I prepare for my PHA draw?

Preparing for Your Personal Health Assessment

A PHA requires you to fast for eight or more hours. You may drink water and black coffee or have sugar-free gum and mints. You can continue to take prescription medications that do not require food but can only resume medications that require food after your draw. How can I schedule my PHA?

To schedule your PHA draw online, visit www.careatc.com and click Patient Login in the top right corner, and enter your username and password. If you do not know your username and/or password, call the CareATC Patient Access Center at 800.993.8244.

Can my family use CareATC?

Spouse and Dependent Participation

Yes. Covered spouses and dependents over the age of two have access to the same resources as employees. Please note, you will need to maintain a relationship with your pediatrician for well-child visits and immunizations. However, we will see young children ages two and up for acute care needs. There will be a global office visit applied for all acute care visits for children.

What do I need to bring for my first visit?

Preparing for Your First Visit

Please bring a valid I.D., such as a driver’s license or a medical insurance card. Please be prepared to have your photo taken. We highly encourage you to complete your new patient paperwork before your new patient visit, which you can find at www.careatc.com under patient resources.

Are walk-ins welcome?

Walk-In Policy

No. The CareATC Wellness Center does not accept walk-in appointments. However, same-day appointments are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and must be scheduled over the phone. Please call 800.993.8244. to schedule an appointment.

How long will my appointment take? Why am I required to arrive 15 minutes before my appointment time?

Preparing for Your Appointment

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time to allow the doctor and nursing staff time to prepare. The nursing staff will update your information, take your vitals, and review your medication in preparation for your scheduled doctor’s appointment. Your appointment with your doctor will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on your health needs.

Is there a co-pay or other cost to use CareATC?

We partner with your employer to provide primary care services at little to no cost to you. Generally, CareATC offers services to members and their dependents at no charge.

How long is a typical doctor’s appointment?

Appointment Length

Depending on the nature of the visit, a typical clinic appointment can range between 20 and 30 minutes.

What types of services are covered at CareATC?

What types of services are NOT covered at CareATC?

Services Not Covered

The CareATC Wellness Center offers primary care services, which excludes OB care or urgent care needs that might require x-rays or extensive treatment. CareATC is not a hospital.

Can I get all of my medicaitons filled at CareATC?

Available Medications

Your CareATC provider can prescribe medications to treat diabetes, cholesterol, high blood pressure, allergies, and much more – all at little to no cost to you. CareATC works with your employer to provide these medications. If your medication is not available at CareATC, your CareATC provider will electronically prescribe your medication and send it to a local pharmacy of your choice.

What can available medications treat?

Available prescriptions include treatment related to allergy, antibiotics, antifungal, asthma, blood pressure, cardiovascular, cholesterol, diabetes, heartburn, and inflammation/pain.

Do I need an appointment to refill my medications?

Medication refills may vary. Patients can refill CareATC prescriptions in two to three days by calling the Patient Access Center or by request through the convenient mobile app. Often, no Wellness Center visit is necessary unless otherwise required by the physician.

Can I get a prescription from an outside physician filled inside the CareATC Wellness Center?

Prescriptions from outside providers can be reviewed and re-written through an established relationship with a CareATC Provider.

How many months of medication can be refilled?

Medication Refills

Medication refills are based on the physician’s recommendations, but CareATC can provide up to 90-day supplies. Prescription refills take up to three to four days to be processed.
