I believe that most doctors care, but it’s a special doctor that takes it to this level.

Bill

Tulsa, Oklahoma

Steven was taken to the hospital last month with chest pains and admitted for testing. He called me the next day to let me know that he was released with no restrictions. This seemed odd so I asked him what he was told.

He said they had him on a treadmill but he couldn’t finish because his chest hurt so bad. The adriologist reviewed, said he was fine, and then released him. I encouraged him to get another opinion.

He proceeded by seeing Dr. Wilkett who was very concerned stating what he described should have been an immediate failure warranting further testing. She contacted several cardiologists without any luck, so she called her husband who saw him immediately.

Speeding forward, Steven had a heart valve replaced on May 5th and after a week in the hospital is now home recovering. He is very grateful for Dr. Wilkett and credits her with saving his life. I believe that most doctors care, but it’s a special doctor that takes it to this level.

I’m extremely grateful for my employer offering to us such an amazing health benefit.

Tom

Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

During my checkup at CareATC, my blood pressure and cholesterol were both a bit high. The physician prescribed medication and firmly suggest that I lose weight. In addition, she spend extra time listening to my heart. She mentioned hearing something unusual and scheduled an echocardiogram.

When the results came back, they found my widowmaker to be 95% blocked and they proceeded by placing a stent in my LAD artery. I vividly remember having no symptoms, no pain, and being in relatively good shape.

None of this would have been possible without the help of CareATC and my physician that day. I’m extremely grateful for my employer offering to us such an amazing health benefit. Thank you!

A comprehensive exam saved my daughter’s life.

Chris

Carrollton, Texas

My daughter scheduled a routine sports physical with Dr. Lecszynski at the CareATC Clinic in Carrollton, Texas.

After Dr. Lecszynski’s in-depth consultation with my daughter, it was discovered that she was experiencing breathing problems playing soccer. She had never mentioned this to me before. Dr. Lecszynski immediately referred her to a cardiologist and she was diagnosed with an electrical malfunction in her heart, which could have resulted in a massive heart attack. Due to early diagnosis, surgery was not needed.

Today my daughter is healthy and continuing to play her favorite sport, soccer. I am convinced that Dr. Lecszynski’s comprehensive exam saved my daughter’s life.
