Employers tend to put a lot of attention and money into their healthcare programs, in an attempt to keep their employees happy and healthy, but there are a whole host of modestly priced benefits which may offer a lot of satisfaction to workers of all sorts.

Many of the ones listed in the linked article have to do with offering convenience to segments of everyday life. Examples include:

1. Negotiating deals with local merchants (gyms, movie theaters, restaurants, big box retailers, anything that offers employees value)
2. Paying for free pick-up and delivery by a local dry cleaner for workers' clothes
3. Providing interest-free computer loans to all employees
4. Letting employees buy excess inventory at steep discounts

The list goes on, but each example is an opportunity to provide little perks that make people glad to come to work.
