Facebook works with a lot of developers to create all kinds of new user experiences. Chatbots are one of the hottest startups in the business, providing conversations between a user and an AI, in the attempt to find information or solve a problem.

New innovations have allowed chatbots to help users find jobs. But is this the end of HR recruitment? Far from it.

In order to make jobs available through one of several competitor chatbots, companies have to register directly. Jobs are listed according to specific criteria meant to make jobs available to highly qualified people.

Instead of taking work away from HR, Facebook chatbots will likely be just another way that HR can find the best talent. Finding great talent is a moving target. With more than a billion active users, Facebook seems a logical pool from which to draw potential candidates.

It has yet to be seen if Facebook chatbots will become an industry standard, or just another digital curiosity that never really takes off. Why not try it?
