Many respondents said that some of their HR team members were simply too good at their jobs, making them irreplaceable if they were to quit, take another job, or pass away.
Key HR staffers are, to many companies, essential to steady operation and ongoing growth.
This concern is amplified because there are fewer promising candidates on their way up the HR ladder than there have been in previous decades, making long-tenured HR employees among the most valuable resources for many institutions.
