For Managers, Future Success will Depend on Soft Skills | Wendy White | HR Insights blog by CareATC, Inc.There are many aspects of the typical manager's job – monitoring, reporting, maintaining procedures, sharing information – which will be taken over by computers in the near future.

Does this mean that human managers will go the way of the dinosaur? That's highly unlikely say industry analysts, but the nature of human management is likely to change.

"Soft Skills" like intuition, creativity, and emotional intelligence will be the hallmarks of the great manager.

Some of these changes will surely be inevitable, so businesses that want management to evolve with little growing pains will do well to emphasize these traits when hiring and training new management.
