Headlight Data analyzed wage changes within American cities between 2013 and 2014.
Among cities with at least 1,000,000 citizens, wages grew significantly in some municipalities, but grew only marginally or even declined in others.
The top city for wage growth last year was San Jose, California, with an average 6.8% pay growth. Seattle, Boston, and Houston followed close behind.
The only city in America where wages actually fell last year was Las Vegas, Nevada, with an average -1.3% paid to already cash-strapped area employees. See where your city stacks up.
