Benefits and perks are obviously high on the priority list when it comes to job hunting. But what industries offer their employees the best benefits?

A study based on data from jobs/recruitment site Glassdoor sought to find out just that.

They investigated the benefits from eight industries: finance, information technology (IT), manufacturing, education, health care, business services, retail and restaurants/bars/food services.

Then they looked at how generously these industries dispersed the following: maternity/paternity leave, 401(k) plans, and free lunch and snacks.

The survey found that Finance, IT, and Manufacturing had the most generous benefits; food service, the least.
