12 Quick and Easy Ways to Reset and Destress

Feeling overwhelmed at work? Stressed about your to-do list? Concerned about meeting deadlines? Use these 12 quick and easy ways to reset yourself during the day.

1. Go for a ten-minute walk

  • A brief walk can clear your mind of ongoing tasks and improve your mood.

2. Turn off your phone for 1 hour

  • Taking a break from technology can improve relationships with others, minimize distractions, and increase productivity at work or home.

 3. Play your favorite song

  • Playing your favorite song can improve your mood, and lower blood pressure and tension built up in the body.

4. Get coffee with a friend

  • Socializing with others can improve friendships, accountability, and distract you from challenges you may be facing.

5. Try a new yoga pose

  • Trying a new yoga pose can help your brain focus on a new challenge. This leads to improved energy, vitality, and circulatory health which decreases stress.

6. Close your eyes for 60 seconds

  • Closing your eyes helps block out distractions and improve brain power and memory.

7. Get some vitamin D

  • Going in the sunlight improves your mood, boosts immunity, and regulates sleep patterns resulting in increased health and wellness.

8. Go for a swim
